All windsock
products are hand-made in England with quality and durability being the main
objective. We are so confident of the outstanding quality of our products that
we guarantee them in service for one year from date of sale, assuming the windsocks
are flown from a suitable mast/swivel arm installation.
We have supplied our products worldwide and are aware that they survive and operate in extreme and wide ranging weather conditions. The list of applications these windsocks are now utilised for is constantly increasing. See a list of current applications for these products.

Our ex stock windsocks are made from polyurethane coated nylon in British Standard International orange. This material is manufactured to our exact specifications and has been developed over twenty years. It is impregnated with an ultra violet inhibitor to minimise fade rate and enhance longevity.
The standard windsock product utilises an integral heavyduty hoop, which is sewn into the mouth of the sock from which four high quality stainless steel wires lead to a zinc plated swivel snap clip. For severe weather conditions or marine applications we offer a stainless steel hardware upgrade kit.
We are also able to manufacture to customer's specification windsocks with metal eyelets and nylon rope to attach to existing drum or hoop swivel installations.
MASTS
AND SWIVELS We manufacture a wide range of masts and swivel attachments to fly our windsocks from. The ex stock masts come in three sizes, 12' (3.65m), 16' (4.88m) and 20' (6.1m) overall height.
The 12' (3.65m) mast has a fixed base socket and can fly windsocks up to 8' (2.43m) long.
The 16' (4.88m) and 20' (6.1m) masts have a pivoting base mechanism for convenient windsock renewal. They are suitable to fly all sizes of windsocks.
The masts are manufactured from mild steel tube and come with our mild steel swivel head and arm and are finished in red oxide primer as standard. Exterior quality paint finishes and galvanised masts are also available.
Swivel head and arm assemblies to attach to customers own masts are also an ex stock item. This item is essential for the windsock to be able to operate correctly, as it avoids the windsock wrapping itself round the mast therefore increasing the windsock service life. Swivel arms and heads are available in mild steel and stainless steel and can be supplied with obstruction light modification if required.
To personalise or as an effective advertising tool we offer windsocks with lettering. These letters are normally stitched on in black PVC onto two panels of the windsock to ensure balanced flight and that the letters are readable at most times. Experience has shown us that individual stitching of the letters is the only way to ensure a long lasting quality product.
This is a completely portable windsock and mast kit in a canvas bag. The bag contains everything required to erect a fully operational wind indicator.

The overall height of the mast and swivel arm is 3 metres (9'10") and is manufactured from high quality stainless steel. The swivel arm has a D shackle onto which the windsock clips. A 0.7m (2'6") long windsock is provided in the kit, this having been manufactured to the same strict quality and with the same high quality components as our normal windsock range.
This kit is ideal as a temporary wind indicator, at pleasure flying venues, as an advertising medium or for the aviator who requires occasional temporary use but does not want to detract from fine buildings.
A completely transportable kit is available for shipping into remote military/commercial areas where a temporary floodlit windsock is required that can be simply installed and removed from site in a rugged flight case.
